I came up with my topic by the very popular musical Hamilton which is based during the Revolutionary time. The musical follows the life of Alexander Hamilton. Since the musical is from the American perspective I thought it would be interesting to do it from the British perspective. I went to talk to one of my history teachers about it. He said that I should learn more about the American side first. So that is where I got my topic from.   

My research consisted mostly of books and websites. I do have maps and some letters but they are hard to read at some points because they are so old.  I did my first website last year and loved it. I love the fact that it’s online and the program is so fun to learn. It was hard to get used to software at the beginen and there were some kinks but it all worked out in the end.

The Revolutionary War broke many barriers but the one that we are going to be  is tactical fighting. Before this time there really was no structure to fighting. You just had rows of people and one row at a time would fire But when the British got to the U.S. territory it was all woods and they didn’t know what to do. The Americans started to use tactical fighting and that is what won us the war. Greene and Washington introduced tactical fighting to the world.
